Energy Institute and Student Energy partner to support next generation energy leaders

Energy Institute - the professional membership body for people who work across the world of energy - is pleased to announce a new partnership with Student Energy, a global organisation dedicated to empowering the emerging generation of leaders.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment in equipping future energy leaders, as well as championing students and professionals in building a better energy future to a just global transition.

Through Student Energy, and their network of over 50,000 young people across more than 120 countries, students will be able to take advantage of the Energy Institute’s complimentary student membership.

Available to anyone studying at a university or college who is curious about energy, sustainability or the future of net zero, Energy Institute student membership is open to those studying any discipline, anywhere in the world.

Commenting on the partnership, Lydia Malley AMEI, EI’s Director of Professional Development, said:

“Developing and supporting young energy professionals is central to our mission. The partnership with Student Energy unites our networks of future energy leaders, enabling them to access the benefits and opportunities offered by both organisations.

“Investing in students early in their careers is key to developing a skilled, adaptable energy workforce. Through our free membership, students gain access to professional development resources, industry insights, and networking opportunities that strengthen their knowledge and confidence.”

Student Energy’s Executive Director, Helen Watts added:
