Ed Miliband MP will be replaced by Minister for Energy Consumers, Martin McCluskey, to deliver an address on day 1 of International Energy Week 2026 International Energy Week 2026, the major global gathering of the energy community taking place in London.
From 10-12 February 2026 at the QEII Centre, the Energy Institute will convene senior figures from across the energy world - policymakers, chief executives, academics, and influencers - united by a shared focus on growth and security in an increasingly disordered energy transition.
In addition to industry CEOs like Shell’s Wael Sawan, ENGIE’s Catherine MacGregor and Masdar’s Mohammed Al Ramahi, green technology pioneer Lei Zhang - Founder and CEO of Envision - will speak at the conference and the International Energy Week Awards Dinner as the 2026 President’s Award recipient.
Commenting, the Energy Institute’s Director of External Affairs, Gemma Regniez FRSA AMEI said:
“This year’s International Energy Week brings together an exceptional speaker line-up, reflecting the diversity and ambition of the global energy community.
“From policymakers and investors to innovators and future leaders, their participation will help spark the dialogue, challenge the status quo, and share the practical solutions needed to deliver a secure and sustainable energy future.”
