New gas field discovered in Black Sea

Lukoil (72%), PanAtlantic (18%) and Romgaz (10%) are reported to have discovered a gas field at the Trident block (EX-30) in the Black Sea, offshore Romania. Lukoil believes Lira gas field reserves may exceed 30bn cm, which will be confirmed during evaluation drilling.
