RAF jets target IS controlled Syrian oil fields

RAF Tornado and Typhoon jets have carried out a series of air strikes in Syria since UK MPs backed military action against Islamic State (IS) in the country. The Omar oil fields in eastern Syria were targeted in a bid cut off IS ‘oil revenues at source’, reported the BBC.
