Cooling the Tower of London
New chillers from Airedale International are delivering comfort cooling as part of a major refurbishment programme at the Tower of London, home to priceless treasures including the Crown Jewels. Airedale was selected by principal contractor EV Bullen to supply two 237 kW Ultima air-cooled, twin circuit compact chillers, which allow four stages of cooling to closely match cooling demand – in order to maximise energy efficiency and minimise energy use.
