Offshore Wind Cable Catalogue

The aim of this project is to investigate the specification of large cables that may be used in large scale Offshore Wind Installations. The first phase of this project is to define a range of appropriate cable dimensions, based upon a collection of reference designs and then predict the continuous thermal rating using the base case cable design (132 kV with 800 mm2 copper conductor) for a series of installation environments.
