It’s often more cost-effective to improve the performance of buildings and industrial processes through energy efficiency – the so-called fifth fuel – than to generate, supply and purchase more energy. So, once again, energy management is the first theme of this issue, with articles covering the psychology of human behaviour in this area, and why Australia seems to be doing a better job than the UK.
