From the Editor: Greener generation, yes, but we also need to cut demand

There’s plenty of positive news on the growth of low carbon energy in this issue of the magazine – plummeting costs for wind, solar and batteries; the emergence of subsidy-free renewables; the world’s biggest (so far) solar power project on the way; and more action on hydrogen, biofuels and electric vehicles in the UK.
