Foam testing
For many years, foam has been the most important weapon in a firefighter’s arsenal for storage tank and other flammable liquid fires. However, there is concern about the long-term performance of some foam types in response to major incidents. Niall Ramsden of ENRg Consultants, coordinator of the Lastfire initiative, reports.
