Trans Asia Resources to acquire Uzbekistan’s largest oil refinery

Indonesia’s Trans Asia Resources is planning to acquire the 6.4mn t/y Fergana oil refinery, the largest oil refinery in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan government approved the privatisation of the oil refinery in April 2019 as part of its plan to open up the economy to foreign investors.
