Senegal licensing round launch

The Ministère du Pétrole et des Energies, Sénégal, together with the Société des Pétroles du Sénégal (Petrosen) and supported by GeoPartners, is to launch the 2020 Senegal licensing round with an opening event on 28 January 2020, at the King Fahd Hotel, Dakar.  

The round comprises 12 blocks on offer in the MSGBC Basin, offshore Senegal. The government is seeking to increase investment in the country, presenting opportunities for short, medium and long-term investment, with future rounds planned.
