Inter laboratory study report: IP 436: Determination of aromatic hydrocarbon types in aviation fuels and petroleum distillates - High performance liquid chromatography method with refractive index detection
The stated objective of this ILS was to improve the precision data for the total aromatics and di-aromatic content as measured by IP 436. Doing so may allow IP 436 to be used as an alternative to ASTM D1840 for naphthalene (di-aromatics) content in aviation fuel specifications.
