Ineos to postpone Forties pipeline system shut down

Ineos FPS has said it is to delay shut down of the Forties Pipeline System, which was originally planned for June 2020, in ‘response to the ongoing UK government restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic’ and ‘in the interests of providing clarity to customers and the UK oil and gas industry’.

The shutdown is now scheduled for Spring 2021.
