'First’ large-scale direct air capture plant for Iceland, Energy World, January 2021, p 4
In Iceland, the Swiss firm Climeworks is building a direct air capture plant (Orca) to remove over 4000 tonnes/a of CO2 and store it as stone underground. Since it is sited close to a geothermal power plant, the energy required will be renewable.
