Eni starts production at Cabaça North

Eni has started production from the Cabaça North development project in the eastern area of block 15/06 offshore Angola, via the Armada Olombendo FPSO vessel.

Production is expected to peak at aound 15,000 b/d.

This is the second start-up by Eni Angola this year, after early production commenced from Cuica in July. A third is expected within the next few months, with the Ndungu early production project in the Western area of block 15/06.

Eni Angola has a 36.84% share in block 15/06, alongside Sonangol Pesquisa e Produção (36.84%) and SSI Fifteen (26.32%).
