Equinor and Rosneft to collaborate in carbon management
Equinor and Rosneft have agreed to join forces to develop low carbon solutions and reduce the carbon footprint from joint upstream projects in Russia.
Under the agreement, the companies will explore opportunities within such areas as reduction in flaring and methane emissions, energy efficiency and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions. The companies will also evaluate joint opportunities for the use of renewables, carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and low carbon hydrogen solutions.
