In US, NASA is researching a 50 kg solar-sailing spacecraft designed to locate and examine asteroids and comets visiting our planetary system. The craft would incorporate six metal-coated sails comprising a total of 4000 square metres, enabling it to reach up to 260 000 km/hr.
