Feed in Tariffs and Contracts for Difference: proposals relating to Guarantees of Origin: consultation

"The cost related to the Contract for Difference (CfD) and Feed-in Tariff (FIT) schemes are levied on GB electricity suppliers. These suppliers can seek exemption from a portion of these costs in respect of renewable electricity generated in an EU member state and supplied to customers in GB.

In this consultation we’re seeking views on:
  • options relating to changes to the current scheme cost exemptions
  • timings related to the intended removal of GB recognition of EU Guarantees of Origin"
