"To support the NDA in meeting its socio-economic objective and reporting to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), it asked Economic Insight to conduct an update of the 2018 economic impact assessment of the Magnox sites on their local economies.

In particular, the NDA wanted to gain a better understanding of both the current economic contribution of the Magnox sites to their local communities and how well placed each community is to deal with the planned downturn and site closure."
