In US, the FAA has granted approval for the use of 100 octane unleaded Avgas developed by Swift Fuels in a 172R/S Cessna Skyhawk fitted with a Lycoming IO-360-L2A engine. Other unleaded Avgas candidates include G100UL and UL100E
