The International Energy Agency (IEA) is fully aware that the energy transition cannot be achieved without hydrogen, but current strategies in Europe do not appear to be able to provide more than about 26% of this requirement. Hence, stronger integration of EU policies, together with cooperation with Africa, is paramount.
