In UK, an Oxford University spin-off, OXCCU, has derived a one-step process for the catalyst-assisted production of eFuels, eliminating the primary stage of reverse water-gas shift. The current production is 12L/day of SAF at Oxford Airport, but the second version at Hull will produce 200 L/day. The resulting fuel will be drop-in, so can be introduced progressively.
