In the marine world, which involves 80% of the world’s trade, the target of reducing the 2 to 3% of emissions is recognised as needing global co-operation to develop fuels alternative to the conventional petroleum derivatives. A key player is hydrogen, used as such or as derived fuels such as e-ammonia, e-methane and e-methanol, hence its production is paramount.
