In US,  Beta Technologies with GE Aerospace are codeveloping turbogenerators for hybrid electric aircraft.   As an example of these products, the dual redundant H500A driving the Hartzell pusher prop produces 427 kW with 97.5%% efficiency and power/weight ratio of 6.2kW/kg.   The H500B will reach 455 kW.
