The Arctic gold rush

With latest estimates showing the region to hold around 13 per cent of the world's undiscovered oil and as much as 30 per cent of undiscovered natural gas as well as Gold, platinum, copper and other precious metals, the Arctic would be of immense value to any country, in particular Russia, the United States, Canada, Denmark and Norway, that managed to gain control of it.
