Water and energy use efficiency are increasingly linked. Gareth Walker

Large quantities of water are essential to many parts of the energy industry and the water industry is itself a sizeable energy user. Meanwhile, consumers are using too much of the precious liquid resource, writes Gareth Walker. One part of the answer might be a joint programme to encourage energy and water savings at the same time; a programme that Waterwise and the Energy Saving Trust are already operating together for UK domestic users.
