Bug attack

In UK, it is reported that contamination by microorganisms, particularly in diesel fuel which is inherently unstable and hygroscopic, is dependent largely on the presence of water, and that this is increasing in view of the adoption of supplemental biodiesel containing up to 25 times as much water. Affected fuels can be recirculated and recovered at low cost, but an even less expensive approach is to fit anti-microbial conditioners on fuel system components, and recirculating the fuel through a conditioner on a monthly basis.
