Maintaining asset integrity

Much of the current concern in the North Sea over ageing installations revolves around fabric maintenance and the battle to keep platforms profitable in the face of declining asset integrity.
Corrosion is gradually weakening the integrity of North Sea platforms that were built 20 or more years ago which are now working well beyond their original design lives.
