‘CEEing’ the big energy use picture

Bottom-up modelling techniques have been used in the past to predict patterns of energy use, but they have not always been accurate. Academics at UCL have been pioneering another approach, that of energy epidemiology, to take a topdown view at what is really going on in our built environment. Marc Height spoke to Professors Robert Lowe and Tadj Oreszczyn.
