Promising potential

Despite the current turmoil in oil and equity markets, the credit crunch and oil prices tumbling, recent African oil discoveries are promising much, with the focus shifting towards the deepwater plays offshore Ghana and the ongoing commercialisation of the Lake Albert Rift Basin in Uganda, writes Priscilla Ross.
