Hess sells US east coast and St Lucia terminal network
Hess Corporation is to sell its US east coast and St Lucia terminal network to Buckeye Partners for $850mn in cash. The 20 terminals offer a combined capacity of some 39mn barreās (6.2mn cm), of which 10mn barrels is located at the St Lucia crude oil and products terminal in the Caribbean. The sale of the terminal network, along with the sales of four upstream producing assets completed earlier this year and the announced sale of its Energy Marketing business, brings total year-to-date divestitures to $5.4bn.
