Wintershall signs Argentine farm-in-agreement

Wintershall has signed a farm-in agreement with Gas y Petróleo del Neuquén (GyP) for the exploration and possible development of Argentina’s Aguada Federal block, located in the Vaca Muerta shale in the Añelo department in the east of Neuquén province. Wintershall is taking a 50% participation interest and assuming operatorship of the block.
