Westermost Rough Onshore substation

Balfour Beatty has completed an £9mn project to install an onshore substation servicing Westermost Rough wind farm. The project included the installation of a gas insulated switchgear building housing supervisory control and data acquisition panels, batteries, low voltage panels and controls, transformers, switchgear, high voltage cabling, drainage, roads, fencing and protective blast walls.
