Amec Foster Wheeler secures Omani contract

Amec Foster Wheeler has secured a contract from the Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) for the front-end engineering design of the Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park Project in Oman. The project involves the phased development of a terminal designed to hold about 200mn barrels of crude oil, making it one of the largest oil storage facilities of its type. The first phase of the project, for some 25mn barrels’ capacity, is due onstream by the end of 2018.
