Solo increases stake in KN gas discovery

Solo recently acquired a further 6.5% interest in the Kiliwani North (KN) gas discovery from operator Aminex, agreed on the same terms as its existing 6.5% stake but contingent on signing of a gas sales agreement. Development of KN is almost complete – the 2km export line to the Songo-Songo processing facility has been installed and tested, with tie-in from the wellhead to this line expected to be completed within weeks.
