Are liquid fuel-based reactor designs getting closer?

The international growth of ‘conventional’ nuclear power technology has slowed almost to a halt due to concerns over capital costs and waste disposal strategies. However, alternative technologies are under development; principally several variations on liquid fuel reactors, as Andrew Williams reports.
