Europe's disunited grid

There’s a clear need for the development of a more connected electricity grid in Europe to facilitate maximum flexibility in the use of power generated across the continent by consumers wherever they are. A better-linked grid is also essential for the operation of a single electricity market. Nick Newman has been looking at plans for interconnection projects.
