Whither the global nuclear industry?

Published annually by consultants independent of the nuclear industry, the World Nuclear Industry Status Report (WNISR) nevertheless provides comprehensive information on nuclear power plants; their operation, production and construction. Here, we present edited extracts from the 2015 report summary that analyses the shape and size of the global nuclear industry, and goes on to compare its potential with that of new renewable energy.
